Gorgeous Property within the heart of Sonoma

Incredible stay! This place is a must!

The Yellow Farmhouse was lovely. It was close to the center of town with all its restaurants and shops. The house itself was picture perfect. It was cozy and had everything we needed. The backyard far exceeded expectations. The small vineyard was just leafing out and the flowers were blooming. And even though it was too cold to use the pool, it was still pretty. We did use the outdoor fire-pit quite often during our stay and had many relaxing hours sitting around it. It was perfect in every way. We can't wait to return.

We had the best stay here - 3 couples for a milestone birthday celebration. Wonderful place to gather and enjoy the beauty of Sonoma. Walkable to the square and local restaurants. Kitchen was very well appointed for foodies and people who want to enjoy entertaining with friends. Really was a perfect spot for us.

We had a lovely long weekend at this property. Would definitely visit again and recommend to others.

The Yellow Farmhouse was gorgeous, impeccable, and a truly special experience. The grounds were exquisite, from the pool and patio with fireplace and kitchen, to the bocce court. The small vineyard in our backyard made it feel a true wine country experience. It was just a few minutes walk to Sonoma square in a charming neighborhood. We also enjoyed making dinners at home with a spectacular open kitchen. All of the equipment, linens, and other appointments were excellent. The host was attentive and quick to reply to inquiries. We would enjoy returning.

Such a gem in the middle of Sonoma! Valerie, our check-in contact was amazing and super helpful. The house was perfectly laid out and I was even helped with things for my baby prior to arrival. A pack and play in a highchair were available for us to use. The porch is beautiful and the location can’t be beat. Would highly recommend!

Hunts place is in a great location. It’s spacious and well equipped. Sonoma is a great spot to walk around and this place is on the doorstep to everything. Highly recommend.

Apartment was in an A+ location. Walking distance to everything downtown Sonoma has to offer (tons of restaurants, wine tastings, shopping, etc.). Whole Foods only a 10 minute walk from apartment. Apartment was spacious and comfortable. Bathrooms small with showers only. Kitchen was fully stocked with cutlery, pans, dishes, glasses, etc. Outside deck was perfect and the length of the entire apartment. Parking on property. Definitely a great place to stay when visiting Sonoma.

We loved our stay! It was so clean and comfortable. If you're looking to visit Sonoma without renting a car this is a great option as everything is within walking distance.

The space we rented was awesome. It was very inviting, clean and well stocked. They thought of everything from spices and condiments to various toiletries. The porch was very comfortable as well.

The location was in walking distance to the towns square with various shops and restaurants.

Stayed here with my wife and my brother and his wife for a birthday celebration and the place couldn't have been more perfect. We loved spending time on the beautiful patio, and the bedrooms were very comfortable. The wine passports which were included were a very generous touch -- our favorite was Benzinger which we ended up becoming wine club members at. We can't wait to come back and stay here again. Thank you!

We can’t say enough about how wonderful this property was. It’s in the heart of the Sonoma square, walking distance to all of the restaurants and shops. It’s perfwct for two couples, as there are two masters with two bathrooms! Great patio to hang out on and the owner and property manager were very accommodating. This is the only place I’ll stay when we come back in the future! Only drawback was that the AC didn’t cool down very much at night, but we just opened the doors to the patio to let the cool air in and we were great!

We stayed at this property last month and it was fantastic. Great space in a very quiet location, convenient to the charming town of Sonoma. Tons of space, very clean, beds and linens were so comfortable. I would highly recommend this listing for your next Sonoma stay!

This was our second time staying at Auberge Sonoma, first in time in the upstairs penthouse. Great accommodations with everything one could need. Less than a block from Sonoma Square. Super convienient. Will stay here again. Highly recommend!

Four of us (two couples) stayed in the upper flat at Auberge Sonoma for 4 nights to attend a friend’s wedding in Sonoma. The location is unbeatable - we could walk everywhere that was located near the town square and it was a short cab ride to the wedding and a few of the wineries. The unit on the upper floor is large and very well appointed with pretty much everything you need, and having the outdoor terrace was great for us to sit and have a drink after we came back from various festivities. The owners have thought of most things you might need, including putting reading lights and electrical charger blocks right above the bed, separate closets with drawers, etc. We would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it to anyone that wants to stay in a nice place close to the square.

This was the ideal location to enjoy Sonoma on foot and other wine country destinations by car. The penthouse is nicely appointed with everything needed to cook, wildly comfortable beds, fireplace that we took advantage of every morning and large deck for relaxing. It's great having two master suites with two couples. We will recommend to others and return!

Four women spending a long weekend together need space, comfort, a well designed kitchen with quality appliances and this unit had it all! The beds were comfortable and the storage in each room was really well laid out. I loved the mirrored closets, the fireplace in the living room and the natural light from all sides. We felt like we were guests in a lovely home, not a rental filled with leftovers. Custom window treatments and kitchen cabinetry. We are cooks and the kitchen had every appliance and utensil we could have needed. It had many basic spices and oils so we didn’t have to buy them. We felt very safe walking around Sonoma after dark and the location is close to the square and shopping. I I would love to go back in the summer and enjoy the balcony-beautiful comfortable furniture and a lovely view.

Stayed here on a girl's trip to Sonoma and it could not have been better. The place was so well appointed and beautiful it was hard to leave to go see the sights. Quite, comfortable, high quality linens and toiletries, great location!! Couldn't want anything better.

Property was clean and spacious. Kitchen had everything you could want, and the wine passport was a nice treat! Location is central - with grocery, restaurants, bar, shopping all within walking distance. The bedrooms are large, and there's plenty of space to sit indoor and out. Highly recommend!!

What a perfect location for shopping & dining right by the town square. Our penthouse suite was elegantly decorated with modern facilities. We all raved about: The fireplace, the comfortable furniture & beds, the great closets, the well stocked kitchen, the beautiful porch, the easy entry with code and last but not least the property manager and owner. Our very last day we evacuated due to the fires in "the area" NOT at the house. We called the property manager and she was so gracious. We then had a follow-up call from the owner to make sure we were all safe and sound and made it back home to Florida. They have our respect and gratitude for handling things so well during their own stressful situation.

Auberge Sonoma Penthouse was exactly as advertised. The property was clean, spacious and well appointed. The owners provided a helpful manual with instructions, restaurant recommendations, etc. The proximity to Sonoma square was also fantastic.

Do not hesitate on this one. It's a winner!

One minor recommendation; we were not able to find a porch light for our unit, which would have been helpful in entry after dark. Possible we just missed it, but the porch could use a bit more nighttime lighting overall.

Auberge Sonoma #155 made for a great visit to Sonoma/Napa. First, the location is steps away from the Sonoma Town Square. It was nice to be able to walk to shops and wine tastings and back to the house. The owner provided a pass with a list of tasting rooms and vineyards that offer two for one and free wine tastings. The Penthouse is extremely well appointed and stocked with virtually everything needed to make you feel right at home. The owners obviously put a lot of time and effort into making this feel like a home away from home. The entire suite was very clean and updated. We stayed with another couple and there was plenty of room for the four of us. It had a very nice patio which was also nicely furnished. The location is also very convenient to Napa Valley, We would definitely return for a future visit and highly recommend Auberge Sonoma.

We stayed in the 155 Penthouse. It was awesome. Covered porch, clean, well stocked, walking distance to the square. We didn't want to leave. Definitely will return! Stopped and had fabulous breakfast on the way out of Sonoma at The Fremont Dinner!

Very nice property with all you need

The Penthouse at Auberge Sonoma made for a perfect stay in Sonoma. We were in Sonoma for a family wedding, and the Penthouse was a great second home. It was quite spacious, and though it really only comfortably slept 4, could easily accommodate more for a dinner gathering, either inside or out on the expansive covered porch. The kitchen was gorgeous, and thoughtfully stocked. The beds were luxurious, with great bedding and great reading lamps. The place was beautifully decorated. And you couldn't do better in terms of location. We could walk to everything. It was perfect stay!!!

Great location high end accommodation would highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in Sonoma.

We couldn't have asked for more. The owners have thought of everything. The wine tasting passes were a wonderful treat. We could walk to restaurants for dinner after busy days wine tasting. Can't wait to go back.

A beautiful, clean and comfortable flat.

This is such a great place for 2 couples! We stayed from May 2-9, and were just as pleased as when we stayed in 2013! The Penthouse has tons of room, comfortable beds, great showers and a full kitchen with washer and dryer. But, again, the crowning glory is the HUGE covered porch for sipping, munching and relaxing after a hard day of wine touring and tasting. We were so lucky that the weather was great.

Another great aspect of this rental is that it is a short half-block off the Sonoma Plaza. That allowed for quick trips in for dinners and coffee and ice cream. There were also two events taking place the week were there and many tents set up in the Plaza.

We found this a great location for our wine-tasting day trips all over Napa and Sonoma counties. We'll be back!

We have rented all of Byron's properties around Sonoma Square, Suite's 155,153,151 as well as Bungalow Sonoma and Cottage Sonoma and truly no written words can let you know the pure "Perfection" he provides in his homes.

The homes are equipped w/everything you could imagine and most likely in better shape than items we have in our own homes. His properties are immaculate and comfortable. Seriously, we never want to leave.

The properties are all walkable to the Sonoma Square...there is no need to even use your car as amazing restaurants and wine tasting are just steps away.

We loved this rental from the time we walked in until when we left 4 days later. It is furnished great and even has a gas fireplace for chilly mornings and nights. The large porch is an extra added bonus.

This is a charming, well appointed apartment in a fantastic location. Located one block from the plaza, it is an easy walk to restaurants and shops. The owner, Byron, was very responsive and a delight to work with. I would highly recommend this a wonderful place to stay. Perfect for 2 couples, with the 2 masters suites. Lovely porch to relax on with a glass of wine. We couldn't have been happier!

You can not ask for a better location, just feet from the square with awesome tasting rooms, restaurants and shopping. No need to worry about a DD, park and walk. The unit is amazing, spacious, clean, modern and perfect for entertaining after a day out. Generous kitchen stocked with lots of added amenities. Plus the best is the beautiful oversize porch, perfect for dining or just relaxing. The location was exceptionally quiet and a place we all agreed would be perfect for our next return trip, next time a day or two longer.

2 couples shared the Auberge Sonoma Penthouse Suite the first week of October. We could not have asked for a better location and accomodations. The owner is committed to the guests. Any kitchen gadget you could need was there. The 2 bedrooms and bathrooms were great. The sheet were some of the best I have slept on. We enjoyed the gas fireplace for the chilly mornings. It was nice and roomy and we never felt crowded. We made reservations every day for our evening meal in the little town of Sonoma and were able to walk to each one. We loved walking out the door and being in the middle of shopping and restaurants. But, it was a quiet location. This was our first experience with VRBO but will not be out last.

Wow this place is amazing!!!! My entire family stayed in all 3 units for my wedding weekend and wow this place is perfect in every way. We had the penthouse which is the top unit the largest. It has 2 bedrooms and 2 baths large living room amazing fully loaded kitchen and HUGE deck with patio furniture and table and chairs. They have everything stocked - coffee, all the appliances, pita and pans, washer dryer, towels, soap, bathroom and accessories.

My new family mother in law and sister in law rented the other two units. The front one has cute sitting area and the back patio. Everything about this amazing and we highly recommend if you rent all units for families, wedding parties, or couples.

Bryon the owner or house manager is so sweet and attentive. I saw him the first day and he was so nice!

Ps the location is literally in the Sonoma square - it's right off of it but like 4 doors down the "square".

My husband and I just spent a long weekend in the Auberge Sonoma Penthouse Suite and it was wonderful! The owners have thought of EVERYTHING! The suite has two big bedrooms with comfortable linens (next time we may invite another couple to come with us). It is very well stocked should you choose to cook or entertain. I believe that the best part of this rental, however, was the LOCATION! Countless wine tastings within a short walking distance, and it is less than a block from the town square and literally right across the street from - what we think - is the best restaurant in Sonoma, Cafe La Haye. If you need a romantic getaway and this property is available, book it! You will not regret it!

Wonderful Wonderful. My wife and I were traveling with another couple. This property had two full masters. The touches were great.Plenty of plush towels, great mattresses, top notch cable, stocked kitchen, etc. Best of all the house is literally steps away from the charming Sonoma town square. Restaurants, Wine Tasting Clubs, historical spots were all 2 minute walk. No need to even go to a winery. The landlord here is a professional who understands word of mouth. Don't miss this one. Perfect location 50 yards off the Plaza. The description of the property understates the efficiency and quality. Large rooms all newly remodeled and well appointed. Large private deck for out door relaxing. Off street parking and just steps from the tasting rooms, Restaruants and shops around the Plaza. I would strongly recommend.
